Vancouverites who've enjoyed the Corsi family's central Italian fare at their city Quattro restaurants flock here for warming après-ski meals. The L'Abbuffata, a five-course Roman feast (C$60), comes on family-size platters meant for sharing. Other popular dishes include spaghetti pescatore, pistachio-crusted sea bass, and shaved beef tenderloin. The seasonal three-course menu is a good deal. Dark woods, fireplaces, and an open kitchen are relaxing after a hard day on the slopes. Nine hundred wine varieties and an impressive grappa selection fill the cellar.

Great food, good service, but the location is far from everything!
