Saturday and Sunday Markets

Fodor's Review:

During the summer, Anchorage's Saturday and Sunday Markets are open in the parking lot at 3rd Avenue and E Street. More than 300 vendors offer Alaskan-made crafts, ethnic imports, and deliciously fattening food. The open-air markets run from mid-May to mid-September, Saturday and Sunday 10-6. A smaller market sells local produce and crafts July through August, on Wednesday from 11 to 5, at Northway Mall in East Anchorage.
