A longtime favorite, this café is across the street from the Log Cabin Visitor Information Center. Although you can choose from familiar sandwiches, like the French dip or the chicken teriyaki, this deli also has Alaskan favorites, like grilled halibut and reindeer stew. The dark, rich chicken soup comes with either noodles or homemade matzo balls, and breakfasts range from omelets and homemade granola to cheese blintzes. You can sit in one of the wooden booths for some privacy or out front at the sidewalk tables for some summertime people-watching.

It's not bad but it's not great either. Convenient downtown location. Decent service and comfortable, casual, clean, atmosphere. The food was far from gourmet but was tasty. It satisfied our hunger. Not a place that I'd consider for my "top ten" list but if you happen to be downtown shopping and you're hungry, why not? The bagel chips were what we enjoyed the most. They were fresn and delicious.
