This colorful restaurant serves light American cuisine such as capellini primavera, chicken and scallops over udon noodles, and penne pasta. They also feature monthly wine flights, normally with three different selections of 3-ounce pours with information sheets on each wine. Be sure to ask about the daily specials, particularly the fresh king salmon and halibut. Flowers adorn the tables, and singles congregate along a small bar, sampling wines from California, Australia, and France. The café is especially crowded during lunch, served from 11 to 2:30. The weekend brunch menu includes eggs Benedict, a Mexican scrambled egg dish called migas, and various salads and sandwiches.
