Top of the World Hotel Review

Built in 1974, this refurbished hotel on the shore of the Arctic Ocean has just about every imaginable modern convenience, including cable TV and Internet access. Still, it retains a frontier atmosphere; the lobby, for example, has one complete stuffed polar bear and the mounted head of another. You can mingle in the lobby or in front of the community television. Modern, spacious rooms have sitting areas; ask for a room with an ocean view.
