Yukon Delta National Wildlife Refuge
Getting Here and Around
There are no roads to or in the refuge. The best way to enter the area is to take a commercial flight to Bethel and then fly into the refuge by air taxi. If you only want to see the smallest edge of the refuge, or are a very strong hiker, it is also possible to walk in by driving 2 mi down Chief Eddie Hoffman State Highway, the only paved road in town, to the Refuge Office and Visitors Center at the end of the road.
