Turtle Club

Turtle Club Review

Don't go to this windowless and nondescript dining room expecting great variety. Do go if you are hungry for prime rib, lobster, prawns, or king crab and have a big appetite. There's a good salad bar, the service is prompt, and every order comes with homemade bread. The "Turtle Cut" serving of prime rib, advertised as a "medium portion," weighs a pound. Many of the patrons make this a regular stop on Friday and Saturday nights, so call ahead for reservations. It's worth the 10-mi drive north of Fairbanks.
