Mr. D'z Route 66 Diner Review
This popular spot serves up road food with a '50s flair for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. (Even Oprah and Gayle King stopped here on their cross-country adventure several years ago.) The jukebox spins favorites, and tributes to Elvis and Marilyn Monroe adorn the walls in this old-fashioned diner decked out in bright turquoise and hot pink. Expect low prices and large servings of your favorite burgers, milk shakes, and more substantial fare (chicken-fried steak, baby-back ribs) at dinner, plus handcrafted root beer made on the premises.
