Northwest Arizona and Southeast Nevada Sights

Searchlight Historic Museum Review

Searchlight was once the biggest boomtown in southern Nevada, and some of its rich mining and railroad history is now compressed into a one-room museum, in a building shared with a library and community center. There is recorded narration, a recreated assayer's office, and an exhibit devoted to Clara Bow, the silent screen star who lived near Searchlight after marrying screen cowboy Rex Bell.
