Rancho Pinot Review

The attention to quality here makes this one of the town's most lauded dining spots. The ambivalent minimalist cowboy decor and almost secret-handshake location are completely forgotten upon the first bite of food and replaced with taste-bud heaven. Chef Chrysa Robertson's inventive menu changes daily, depending on what's fresh. If you're lucky, you'll get a crack at the flatiron steak with pancetta and chimichurri sauce, the handmade pasta with fennel and chicken meatballs, or Nonni's Sunday chicken with toasted polenta. Organic and locally grown and raised ingredients are used whenever possible, which is just another reason why you'll want to return as many times as possible.

    Overrated

    Food was not at all impressive. Had lamb chops that were tasteless. My wife had their handmade pasta dish. So so was the evaluation. Prices here are not moderate. Look elsewhere.

    Just as good as we remembered it to be!

    Several years ago we ate at this very nice restaurant but had not had occasion to be near again until now. Both my wife and I had absolutely delicious dinners. She had "Alf's scallops" and I had lamb chops. They were as good as any entrees either of us have ever had! And the atmosphere was warm and friendly, the service excellent! This place is a bit hidden in a small shopping mall but it is well worth finding!
