elements. Perched on the side of Camelback Mountain at the Sanctuary Resort, this stylish, modern restaurant offers breathtaking desert-sunset and city-light views. There's a cordial community table where you can sit and order such appetizers as the trilogy of duck, wild escargot wontons, and fried calamari with miso-scallion vinaigrette. Entrées are excellent; among the best is the bacon-wrapped fillet of beef with Maytag blue cheese and merlot demi-glace.

The view here is spectacular and the ambience is lovely though pretentious--sort of a "see and be seen" atmosphere. Great spot for a romantic meal. The food is very tasty, but the menu is small and the portions are tiny.

as a fellow restauranteur, alsways sad to slam a restaurant. but this one left no alternative. rude, fussy wait staff, cold food, mixed courses, on and on and on. talk about hype with no performance, and attitude! and even after a letter to management, no response. a restaurant that must rest on out of town traffic.
