This fashionable, casual eatery in the heart of Scottsdale's Main Street Arts District serves sophisticated, Thai-inspired fare. Try the best-selling crispy pla: flash-fried whitefish fillets with fresh cilantro and sweet jalapeño garlic sauce. The spicy garlic sautéed spinach is a must, along with curries made to order with tofu, chicken, beef, pork, or seafood. You specify the spiciness -- from mild to flaming, but even "mild" dishes have a bite.

Things are slipping

Unfortunately, Malee's has embarked on a downhill slide since they opened a second location. It appears that the owner is spending more time at the new restaurant, and the quality has slipped if the original location on Main Street in Scottsdale. The last time we were there to of the diners get sick. We will not be back.RATING: 2.4

The food is blan. It's a gold mine full of visitors, and they know it. Including the service staff.RATING: 2.2
