This hotel and conference center has a historic, rather than hokey, Western feel, with a working blacksmith on-site and an elongated bar reminiscent of a Tombstone saloon. Some rooms continue the theme with cowhide headboards, tepee bed canopies, or whimsical bordello furnishings. Horseback riding is a popular activity here, but most guests come for the excellent golf course, the splendid views, and the isolation. Nogales, Mexico, is a short drive south.

I ate at the restaurant on 9/4/07. The "food" was pathetic. Orange juice was colored water. Bacon seemed like it was cooked the day before. FROZEN pasteries. Everything is frozen hospital style food. Nothing fresh.

We bought out the resort with 170 rooms and had the best ever sales meeting. No other people around and we had run of the house. Great staff and food!!
