Tucson International Airport is 8 1/2 mi south of downtown, west of I-10 off the Valencia exit.

Many hotels provide courtesy airport shuttle service; inquire when making reservations.

Arizona Stagecoach carries groups and individuals between the airport and all parts of Tucson and Green Valley, for $9 to $38, depending on the location. If you're traveling light and aren't in a hurry, you can take a city Sun Tran bus to central Tucson. Bus 11, which leaves every half hour from a stop at the left of the lower level as you come out of the terminal, goes north on Alvernon Way, and you can transfer to most of the east-west bus lines from this main north-south road; ask the bus driver which one would take you closest to the location you need. You can also transfer to several lines from Bus 6, which leaves less frequently from the same airport location and heads to the Roy Laos center at the south of town.
