An Italian family restaurant with a light, inviting dining room, Azzara's serves a dozen pasta dishes and many pizzas, as well as chicken, veal, shrimp, and beef. Prices initially seem high -- hovering around $20 -- but once you factor in soup or salad, a vegetable, and olive-oil garlic bread, it's a pretty good value. One fodors.com reader raves: "You gotta try Mrs. Azzara's homemade tiramisu!" We agree.

PLEASE ignore prior negative comments. Azzara's is exactly the neighborhood Italian place you wish was right around the corner from your house.
Saltimbuca was the best I've had; Osso Bucco was excellent. Service was friendly, informative, yet non-intrusive. Recommendations on entrees were perfect. Andrea is a jewel.
...and the Tiramisu was even better than advertised. We'll be back - great value; nice folks.
