Fodor's Review:
Centered between downtown Los Angeles and Beverly Hills, the Dunes is a classic roadside motel with a 1960s vibe, complete with an oval pool and basic decor. Its midcity location and low price are an increasingly rare combination in metro L.A. Rooms here are modest in size (for a quieter stay, ask for those facing south, away from busy Wilshire Boulevard.)
