Tropicana Bar Review
This outdoor, poolside lounge in the Roosevelt Hotel, had so much buzz the management had to tone it down. After the hotel's revamp in 2005 and the arrival of lightning-rod promoter Amanda Scheer Demme (now gone), the place became a ridiculously fabulous hot spot for celebs and their tantalizing misbehavior. It's a good place to drink with the beautiful people and the occasional celeb. Inside the hotel, the even more exclusive Teddy's continues to pack in celebutants trying to avoid the paparazzi.
