The Sunset Tower Hotel Review

A clubby style infuses the 1929 art deco landmark once known as the Argyle. The lobby sets the tone with dark wood, mauve accents, and marble floors; vintage Hollywood star photos add retro glamour to the Tower Bar where you can sink into couches and cozy upholstered corners while taking in the dramatic city views. The indoor-outdoor Terrace restaurant sits poolside and has an equally impressive vista. Guest rooms soft-pedal the look with art deco-inspired fixtures and walnut armoires. The spa and elaborate beauty salon add to the resort-in-the-city feel.
