Fodor's Review:
New York-based restaurateur Jeffrey Chodorow (Asia de Cuba) has refurbished the historic Hollywood Athletic Club -- in its glory days, a hangout for the likes of Chaplin, Gable, and Barrymore. The result? A Moroccan-themed dining room where the scene takes precedence over any of the cuisines reflected on a global menu. For your taste of the Hollywood Renaissance, best options include "Turks & Caicos" conch, crab cake with Moroccan aïoli, lobster bisque en croûte, and short rib tagine.
