Here, in the center of Culver City's burgeoning restaurant district, veterans from posh hotel kitchens turn out the kind of fast food your mom, accountant, and nutritionist would unanimously approve of—emphasizing health and value without compromising quality. After you stand in line for a bit, locally produced greens are tossed in front of you in a big metallic bowl, plated with perfectly grilled meats or fish. Enjoy a grilled chicken cobb salad or chipotle-barbecue chicken salad with creamy lime dressing while sitting on the sidewalk patio with a glass of homemade lemonade.

    Fresh, Fast, Cheap, Easy

    This place was everything I expected. It's menu was simple, but incredibly fresh, per the moniker Tender Greens. I had the chicken and tomato soup, and my dining partner got the steak. Both entres came with salads of your choice. The beer list was sparse, but each choice strong and would go well with the meal. Highly suggested for date night!
