Shorebreak Hotel Review

Across the street from Huntington beach, this recently opened property from Joie de Vivre hotels is a surfer's haven, but with all the creature comforts. Breezy ocean blue-and-white rooms feature Italian linens, gingham headboards, and original surf-inspired artwork, not to mention flat-screen TVs and iPod docking stations. Tiled bathrooms are generously sized, some come with sunken tubs. Rooms facing the ocean are well worth the price. The hotel restaurant, Zimzala, serves exceptionally fresh Mediterranean fare, including flatbreads, hearty Moroccan tagines and housemade ice creams.

    Great beach hotel

    My boyfriend and I visited Huntington Beach in June of 2012 and we stayed at the Shorebreak Hotel. We loved this hotel for many reasons. It was walking distance to the shops and dining on Main Street and the beach and pier. It was decorated with a surf motif and had a bright and sunny atmosphere. They offered a complimentary wine tasting which was also very nice and a great way to meet other hotel guests. Valet parking was a little tricky as you had to pull up in front of the hotel on the street that was pretty busy and a little difficult to figure out. Overall, this was a great hotel, great location, and very friendly staff and I would definitely stay here again.
