Carefully prepared European cuisine is the draw at this airy restaurant. The rack of lamb is carved at the table, the duck prosciutto is cured in-house, and the desserts are set aflame before your eyes. In summer, you (and your dog!) can have lunch served in the courtyard; inside, the dining room looks onto a lighted fountain.

Basically this is a place your grandparents would have thought was Great in the 50's. Very very stuffy, very very formal. Not really bad, just not really different

This restaurant is located in Carmel in the Courtyard of the Fountains, very pretty place. We had a nice lunch here on the outside patio, taking in the beautiful views of the fountains and small boutiques in the heart of Carmel. The food and service were both very good, we would like to return to dinner sometime, the inside dining room was very elegant.
