Roughley Manor Review

To the wealthy pioneer who erected the stone mansion now occupied by this B&B, expense was no object, which is evident in the 50-foot-long planked maple floor in great room, the intricate carpentry on the walls, and the huge stone fireplaces that warm the house on the rare cold night. Original fixtures still gleam in the bathrooms, and bedrooms hold pencil and canopy beds and some fireplaces. An acre of gardens shaded by Washingtonia palms surrounds the house and swimming pool.
