Tahquitz Canyon
Tahquitz Canyon Review
On ranger-led tours of this secluded canyon on the Agua Caliente Reservation, you can view a spectacular 60-foot waterfall, rock art, ancient irrigation systems, and native wildlife and plants. Tours are conducted several times daily; participants must be able to navigate 100 steep rock steps. (You can also take a self-guided tour of the 1.8-mile trail.) A visitor center at the canyon entrance screens a video, displays artifacts, and sells maps.
