Getting Here and Around

Although Murphys is 10 miles off Highway 49, the diversion on Highway 4 is worth it, as Murphys presents the Gold Country's most compact, orderly town, with enough shops and restaurants to keep most families busy for at least a half-day. You'll need to drive here, and parking can be a challenge on busy summer weekends.
