¢-$, American, Cafe, Sutter Creek
Fodor's Review:
This classic 1940s luncheonette with an attitude has only six tables and 10 counter stools, but a new room next door was added in 2007. Read a vintage newspaper or examine the jazz instruments and World War II-era memorabilia on the shelves while you wait for your chicken-fried steak, burger, homemade pie, or handmade chocolate malt (with the tin). The menu is as big as the Chatterbox is small.
