Monteverde Store Museum Review

This store, opened 1896, is a relic from the past. Forty years ago, its final owner walked out without telling a soul and never returned, but you can still visit everything he left behind on the shelves including typical wares from the turn of the twentieth century, an elaborate antique scale, and a chair-encircled potbellied stove in the corner. The store is open Thursday-Monday provided there are volunteers available.
