Several trains operated by Amtrak stop in Sacramento and Davis. Trains making the 2 1/2-hour trip from Jack London Square, in Oakland, stop in Emeryville (across the bay from San Francisco), Richmond, Martinez, and Davis before reaching Sacramento; some stop in Berkeley and Suisun-Fairfield as well; a few venture as far south as San Jose.
