Aero Club is a square cinderblock building named for its proximity to the airport. Local aerospace workers have long used it as a hangout. Formerly a dive, it's now a beer, wine, and pool bar popular with hiply dressed indie rockers who stop in for the low-key atmosphere and extensive list of wines by the glass and beer on tap. The rather dominant mural showing a historical progression of fighting warplanes is true to the club's roots.
