Fodor's Review:
You can park your boat at the 80-slip marina of this romantic retreat, set on a secluded 15-acre peninsula on the Silver Strand. After a $6 million redecoration in 2006, rooms glow with the hues of sand and sea and offer upgraded beds with sea grass headboards; all have furnished balconies with water views -- a sailboat may gracefully glide by. Or rent one of the resort's crafts. The 10,000-square-foot Sea Spa offers a garden with alfresco showers and Watsu water massages. One treatment room, catering to teens, is splashed with a Southern California theme -- surfboards, palm trees, and the ocean.
