Lucky D's Hostel Review

A quick walk from PETCO Park and downtown bars, this no-frills hostel is a good fit for travelers content with shared bathrooms and the sounds of late-night partiers stumbling home. Brightly colored and furnished with IKEA-like bunk beds, the accommodations are mostly four-person dormitories; the five private rooms each have cable TV and a mini-refrigerator. Common areas include a living room for movie nights and pub quizzes; an Internet lounge; and a kitchen for the weekend all-you-can-eat waffle feasts. Each guest must have an international passport or out-of-state ID.
