Camp Pendleton Review
The nation's largest amphibious military training complex encompasses 17 mi of Pacific shoreline. It's not unusual to see herds of tanks and flocks of helicopters maneuvering through the dunes and brush alongside I-5. You may also see herds of sheep keeping the bushland down and fertile fields growing next to the Pacific coastline. You can make advance arrangements to tour historic sites on the base by
contacting the community relations office.
