The fourth-floor rooftop of the Hotel Palomar remains a go-to spot for posh party people who don't mind dropping big money for a poolside cabana. Note, though, that the music shuts down after midnight. Those looking for a more nuanced and romantic setting should seek out the plush leather couches and craft cocktails at the lobby-side Saltbox bar.
