Marketplace Deli Review
Don't be put off by the retro sign out front, the Marketplace Deli is a surprisingly modern and well-stocked grocery, wine shop, and liquor store. It's a lunchtime favorite for people from area offices and Balboa Park because of the amazingly varied and affordable sandwiches and salads made daily. Local favorites include the California sandwich with turkey, avocado, bacon, and sprouts; the Albacore Melt; and the Greek salad.
