By Cruise-Ship in San Diego

By Cruise-Ship

Several cruise-ship lines make San Diego a port of call. Holland America and Royal Caribbean use San Diego as a regular point of embarkation for seasonal cruises to Alaska, the Mexican Riviera, and the Panama Canal. Other lines including Princess and Celebrity originate repositioning cruises in San Diego throughout the year. The San Diego cruise ship terminal is on the downtown waterfront just steps from the San Diego Maritime Museum and Midway Museum. The terminal is a short taxi ride to Balboa Park, Little Italy, and the Gaslamp Quarter.
