Fodor's Review:
Up a nondescript narrow staircase is this unique lodging experience: a hotel as art gallery. The hallways and rooms of this small, funky hotel have been transformed by international artists, who painted the walls and installed site-specific small sculptures. The Web site offers a look at the painted rooms, and specific ones can be reserved, but only by phone. Because the art is constantly changing you might want to allow serendipity to guide you. Small paintings along the hallways are available for sale, and more than half the rooms have private baths.
