Carrots Review
The former location of Ernie's (the restaurant made famous in Hitchcock's Vertigo) was transformed by Melissa Grimm and her sister Catie into this boutique. The name points to the sisters' background as members of the Grimm family of Grimmway Farms fame (the world's largest grower of carrots). Their spacious emporium showcases Bay Area superstar designers Alexander Wang and Helmut Lang alongside BLK Denim and Lola Parker. The icing on the cake (literally!) is a bar that serves mini carrot cupcakes.
