Fodor's Review:
Occupying floors 5 through 17 of a new skyscraper, this luxurious hotel is sandwiched between multimillion-dollar condos, elite shops, and a premier sports-and-fitness complex -- in this newly designated "heart of the city." Elegant rooms with contemporary artwork and fine linens have floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking either Yerba Buena Gardens or the historic downtown. All have deep soaking tubs and glass-enclosed showers. From the contemporary street-level lobby, take the elevator to the vast Sports Club/LA, where you have free use of the junior Olympic pool, full-size indoor basketball court, and the rest of the magnificent facilities, classes, and spa services. Seasons restaurant serves high-end California cuisine, with a strong focus on seasonal and locally produced ingredients. Various packages offer focuses on art, shopping, and cooking.
