Fodor's Review:

It opened in 1960 with only 20 sellers, but today the San Jose Flea Market is part Mexican mercado (market), part carnival, and part garage sale. Some 2,700 vendors spread over 120 acres sell handicrafts, leather, jewelry, furniture, produce, and more. The flea market operates Wednesday-Sunday dawn-dusk; parking is $1 weekdays and $5 weekends.
