Santa Barbara and the Central Coast Restaurants

Roy Review

Owner-chef Leroy Gandy serves a fixed-price dinner (selections $25 and $30)—a real bargain—that includes a small salad, fresh soup, homemade organic bread, and a rotating selection of contemporary American main courses. If you're lucky, the entrée choices might include grilled local fish with a mandarin beurre blanc, or bacon-wrapped filet mignon. You can also choose from an à la carte menu of inexpensive appetizers and entrées, plus local wines. Roy is a favorite spot for late-night dining—it's open until midnight and has a full bar.
