Antelope Valley Winery and Buffalo Company

Antelope Valley Winery and Buffalo Company Review

Desert vineyards? Industry scoffing hasn't deterred Cecil W. McLester, a graduate of UC Davis's renowned wine-making and viticulture program, from crafting decent wines—yes, from grapes grown on-site—including an award-winning Tempranillo and Paloma Blanca, a Riesling-style blend. The winery is also home to the Antelope Valley Buffalo Company, a producer of meat products made from its roaming herd in the Leona Valley.
