Although this hotel was built in 1914, its most striking features are the numerous art deco touches throughout. Most rooms open onto a view of the nearby springs or a three-story New Orleans-style atrium bedecked with colorful canopies. The accommodations are a bit dated, but comfortable, and so quiet it's hard to believe you're only footsteps from the train station. Glenwood's only microbrewery -- the Glenwood Canyon Brewing Company -- is the hotel restaurant. Pros: right downtown, romantic decor, on-site brewpub. Cons: no concierge, no room service.
