Fodor's Review:
Built in 1994 with rough-hewn timber, this lodge is ultramodern within. Upstairs rooms have cathedral ceilings, and those downstairs have gas fireplaces; all are spacious and have coffeemakers and hair dryers. The enthusiastic staff will help to arrange any outdoor activity you desire -- and the possibilities are just about endless. An excellent choice for those who want to be central, the property is within a half-hour's drive of Boulder, the Eldora ski area, and Central City. Pros: property has mountain style, in spite of being a franchise; quiet; good value for location. Cons: Nederland can feel remote unless you're spending a lot of time hiking and skiing, hotel is on a heavily traveled road.
