Sow's Ear

Sow's Ear Review

This airy eatery in Silverpick Lodge is known for providing "the best steaks on the mountain," which it does with aplomb. There are no pedestrian porterhouse or strip steaks here, just buttery ribeye (with a rub of smoked sea salt or blackened with a lime-coriander butter) and filet (served with peppercorns or grilled with mushrooms and wine). There are several delicious seafood options, and those with smaller appetites will appreciate the assortment of equally imaginative "small plates." Reservations are recommended.
