Rochester Hotel Review

The recently renovated Rochester Hotel is funky yet chic, with marquee-lighted movie posters from Hollywood Westerns lining the airy hallways. Steamer trunks, hand-painted settees, wagon-wheel chandeliers, and fluffy quilts add charm to the rooms. Windows from Denver & Rio Grande Railroad carriages have converted the back porch into a dining car, and gas lamps add a warm glow to the courtyard. A sister property, Leland House, is across the street in a restored 1927 apartment building. All rooms here have kitchens. A hot breakfast is served at the Rochester. There are also tea and cookies in the afternoon.
