Beacon Hotel and Corporate Quarters

Fodor's Review:

Traveling families fed up with restaurants might take a tip from the business travelers who frequent this revamped downtown hotel. Nearly half of the spacious king rooms and suites here include a small kitchen and dining area, complete with place settings for four -- a golden opportunity to kick back and eat in. Wide-striped bedding and leatherette ottomans aren't anything new, but the contemporary earth-tone design of the Beacon's rooms is pleasant and comfortable. After dinner, leave the kids to the in-room Playstation and hit the rooftop bar for cocktails, pop music, and a 10th-floor view of the city lights.

  • Hotel Details: 78 rooms, 8 suites
  • In-room: kitchen (some), refrigerator, DVD (some), Internet.
  • In-hotel: restaurant, room service, bars, gym, laundry service, public Wi-Fi, parking (paid), no-smoking rooms.
  • Credit Cards: AE, D, DC, MC, V
  • Metro: Farragut N
