This boutique hotel is in a quiet neighborhood a few blocks from the Kennedy Center, the State Department, and George Washington University. Wrought-iron gates lead through a courtyard to the hotel's front entrance, where beveled glass doors open onto a small lobby with a gray marble floor. Rooms, which vary in size and configuration, have colonial-style furniture and complimentary high-speed Internet access. Guests also receive free entry to the nearby Bally Total Fitness club.

we called before we booked to make sure that they had a/c and were told they did. when we checked in we were told that it hadn't been turned on yet, this was the first week of April.
the first day our room wasn't serviced until 4pm AFTER a tiring day walking around Washington. they need to get their act together
