Bourbon diverges from the typical Adams Morgan scene by offering visitors a Southern-tinged drinking and dining experience. Though you can dance through midnight into the wee hours here, earlier in the evening you'll fine interesting whiskey, scotch, and bourbon options coupled with Southern goodies like barbeque chicken salads, grits, and mac-and-cheese. It's casual, sometimes crowded, and the open back porch in summer is a welcome respite from the 18th Street crowd.
