Capri Restaurant

$-$$$, Italian, Florida City

Fodor's Review:

Locals have been coming here for affordable Italian food in a wide selection since 1958. Outside it's a rock-walled building with a big parking lot that fills up nightly. The interior has dark-wood paneling with redbrick accents and heavy wooden furniture. The tasty fare ranges from pizza with a light, crunchy crust and ample toppings to spaghetti 16 different ways, and broiled steaks and seafood-pasta classics. This is traditional Italian-American cuisine with no surprises and little flourish. Bargain hunters have two choices: the daily early-bird entrées, 4:30 to 6:30 for $12 to $14, which include soup or salad and potato or spaghetti, and the Tuesday family night (after 4 PM), which has all-you-can-eat pasta with salad or soup for $7.95. Top-shelf scotches and cognacs supplement the small wine list.
