Fodor's Review:
On the beach and under new ownership, this already lovely property has been transformed into an entirely new nonsmoking resort with a restaurant and lounge, an old-fashioned ice-cream parlor, and Fort Lauderdale's only Lazy River pool, allowing guests to float around a moatlike "river." For small fry, there's also a Funky Fish program. Of 156 rooms and one-bedroom suites in the new building, 117 are oceanfront. With the new building all aglow, the original Sun Tower is getting a makeover.
